Congratulate recent graduates at school parties and family gatherings with this long-lasting balloon wall hanging. Hang it on entrances, front doors, or windows.

Ingredients: 1 18” “Congrats Grad” Microfoil® Balloon 3 5” “Smile Face” Assorted Jewel Latex Balloons #40 “Graduation Stars/White” Qualatex MasterBow® Poly Ribbon #9 Ruby Red Qualatex MasterBow Poly Ribbon Qualatex® BalloonRibbon™ 1 14” Cardboard Round White Paper 3 Small & 1 Large Mortarboard Caps 9” Red, Yellow, Green, & Blue Cello & Metallic Squares (Available from Advance Creative Products at 1-800-572-1227.) Cool Glue Carpet Tape

Preparation:
1. Draw a circle on the cardboard round about 2 1/2” from the edge.
2. Gather the cello and metallic squares in the center to make tufts, then glue the tufts to the cardboard round as shown, placing the points of each tuft along the drawn circle.
3. Air inflate the 18” balloon, and attach carpet tape to the back. Press the balloon onto the cardboard, smoothing the seams as you push.
4. Make a 10” bow with tails using the two ribbon designs and cool glue it to the base of the balloon.
5. Under inflate the 5” balloons. Cool glue small mortarboards to the balloons, then glue the balloons into the bow.
6. Glue the larger mortarboard to the 18” balloon.
7. Roll the white paper into a “diploma,” tie with BalloonRibbon, and glue to the 18” balloon.

Tips:

• To hang, punch a hole in the top/center of the cardboard backing and thread string or twine through the hole. Adhesive balloon tabs may also be used.
• To conceal the cardboard round, cover it with an 18" Microfoil Round balloon. First, stick 1" lenths of double-sided carpet tape around the edge of the balloon. Cut off the seam of the Microfoil balloon. Place the board, with the double-sided tape up, in the center of the silver side of one of the balloon halves. Pull the edges of the Microfoil balloon up and over the board and stick to the tape.
